G R Infraprojects Limited has announced the appointed date for a new ropeway project. The project, being executed by its wholly-owned subsidiary, GR Tarakote Sanjichhat Ropeway Private Limited, has an appointed date of October 16, 2024. The initiative involves the design, engineering, construction, development, finance, operation, and maintenance of a passenger ropeway between Tarakote and Sanjichhat in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir.
The total project cost is INR 200 crore, and it will be developed on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis. The concession period for the project is set at 33 years, which includes three years allocated for the construction phase.
