G R Infraprojects Limited has announced that it has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) dated 27th August 2025 from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited, formerly known as REC Power Distribution Company Limited. This development comes in continuation of the company’s earlier disclosure made on 14th August 2025 under the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The LoI pertains to a significant power transmission project that includes the establishment of a 2×500 MVA, 400/220 kV substation at Handiya, along with 2×125 MVAr 420 kV bus reactors. The project is structured under the BOOT model with an O&M period of 35 years and will generate annual transmission charges of around ₹3,670.73 million. The scheduled completion period is set at 24 months from the date of SPV acquisition.

Alongside this, the project scope also covers critical works at Neemuch Power Station including the creation of a new 220 kV Bus Section-II and augmentation of transformation capacity through three 500 MVA, 400/220 kV ICTs, as well as construction of line bays to enable renewable energy interconnection. Additional developments include new bus sections, line bays, installation of reactors, and construction of 400 kV double circuit lines with associated switchable line reactors across Pachora, Rajgarh, Neemuch, and Handiya substations.
