Fine Organic Industries Limited has announced the resumption of manufacturing operations at its plant located at Plot No. W-124-A, Khervai MIDC, Badlapur (E), Maharashtra, effective today, November 28, 2024. The plant had previously been disrupted due to a fire incident at an adjacent facility, which led to temporary halting of operations.
In a statement released to the stock exchanges, the company confirmed that it had made significant progress in restoring the plant’s operations to full capacity. The resumption marks a critical milestone as Fine Organic actively works on bringing all other plant activities back to normal.
This comes after an initial announcement by the company on January 18, 2024, regarding the disruption caused by the fire. Since then, the company has been taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the workforce and the restoration of manufacturing functions.
Additionally, Fine Organic Industries has informed that it has received a partial claim payment from its insurance provider for the damages sustained during the incident. The company noted that the claim process is progressing as work continues to bring the affected unit, W-124-A, to full operational status.
