EPack Prefab Technologies has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MASCOT South Asia LLP, marking the beginning of a significant capacity expansion plan in Gujarat. The company notified the exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, stating that this partnership is aimed at supporting its proposed multi-phase growth strategy.
At present, EPack operates with an installed capacity of 133,922 MTPA for pre-engineered buildings and 13.1 lakh square meters for sandwich panels. The company is already running at strong utilization levels of 92,000 MT and 428,000 square meters, which has created the need for added scale to meet rising demand.
Under the first phase of the expansion, EPack plans to increase its PEB capacity by about fifty thousand tonnes. Further details on the second and third phases will be shared later as the project progresses. The initial phase will involve an investment of around ₹110 crore, which includes land acquisition, while the funding structure for later phases will be finalized in due course.
The company said the rationale behind this expansion is to bring in advanced technology and greater automation, enabling it to capture more organic growth opportunities in the western region of India.
