Enviro Infra Engineers Limited on Wednesday announced that Soltrix Energy Solution Pvt Ltd will now be classified as a step-down subsidiary of the company, after a legal review of its agreements and operational control clauses.

In a filing with stock exchanges, Enviro Infra Engineers clarified that its wholly-owned subsidiary, EIE Renewables Pvt Ltd, had earlier acquired a 49% equity stake in Soltrix on June 23, 2025, with a binding agreement to acquire the remaining 51% after one year, subject to completion of Soltrix’s ongoing project.

At the time of acquisition, Soltrix was described as an associate company of EIE Renewables, and therefore not a subsidiary of Enviro Infra Engineers. However, after consulting legal experts and reviewing the agreements more closely, the company determined that operational and managerial control effectively rests with EIE Renewables from the date of acquisition.

As a result, Soltrix Energy Solution Pvt Ltd has now been classified as a subsidiary of EIE Renewables, and consequently as a step-down subsidiary of Enviro Infra Engineers, effective June 23, 2025.

The company has updated both BSE and NSE about this reclassification.
