Embassy Developments Ltd. (EDL), one of India’s top real estate developers, has entered into a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for a prime 17.9-acre land parcel in Whitefield, Bengaluru. The upcoming project is expected to have a gross development value (GDV) of approximately ₹1,600 crore and will feature a premium residential community designed to meet the growing demand from IT and ITeS professionals in the city.
Located just off Whitefield Main Road, the development is strategically positioned to benefit from the area’s thriving social and physical infrastructure. With top-tier hospitals, international schools, shopping malls, and major tech parks nearby, Whitefield continues to be one of Bengaluru’s most sought-after residential hubs.
Connectivity in the region is poised to receive a major boost with infrastructure upgrades such as the Peripheral Ring Road (PRR), Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR), and the recently launched Metro Purple Line, further enhancing accessibility to key parts of the city.
The new residential project will span approximately 1.6 million square feet of saleable area and include around 1,000 apartments. These homes will be offered in 2, 2.5, and 3 BHK configurations, thoughtfully designed to cater to young professionals and urban families looking for smart, lifestyle-oriented living spaces.
