Emami Limited announced its consolidated results for the second quarter of FY26, reporting a decline across key financial metrics compared to the same period last year.
The company’s net profit fell 30.2% year-on-year to ₹148.4 crore, compared to ₹212.7 crore in Q2 FY25. Revenue from operations declined 10.3% YoY to ₹798.5 crore, as against ₹890.6 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Operational performance also weakened, with EBITDA dropping 28.8% YoY to ₹178.5 crore, compared to ₹250.6 crore in Q2 FY25. EBITDA margin contracted by 570 basis points to 22.4%, down from 28.1% a year earlier.
The fall in profitability was attributed to higher input costs and weaker sales momentum in certain categories, even as the company continued to invest in brand building and distribution expansion.
