EaseMyTrip, one of India’s leading online travel platforms, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) to promote Korea as a prime travel destination for Indian tourists. The two entities formalized this collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on February 19, 2025. This partnership aims to boost Korea’s appeal in the Indian travel market by leveraging EaseMyTrip’s digital presence and extensive customer base.
As part of the agreement, EaseMyTrip will launch a dedicated microsite featuring curated travel itineraries, must-visit attractions, and essential travel insights tailored for Indian travelers. The platform will also roll out digital campaigns, including destination-specific blogs, video content, and social media promotions, showcasing Korea’s cultural heritage, vibrant city life, and natural landscapes.
EaseMyTrip plans to expand its outreach to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across India, tapping into emerging outbound travel markets. The company will also use data-driven insights to provide KTO with detailed reports on Indian traveler preferences, booking trends, and peak travel seasons to refine marketing strategies.
Speaking on the partnership, Myong Kil Yun, Regional Director for India & SAARC at KTO, highlighted the growing potential of Korea as a favored destination for Indian travelers. Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, emphasized that the collaboration would offer seamless travel experiences and exclusive itineraries, making Korea a top choice for Indian tourists.
With this initiative, EaseMyTrip and KTO aim to strengthen cultural and economic ties between the two nations while making travel to Korea more accessible and appealing for Indian tourists.
