Dynamatic Technologies Limited, a key aerostructure manufacturer in India, and Deutsche Aircraft, a regional aircraft OEM based in Germany, have officially inaugurated the rear fuselage assembly line for the D328eco® turboprop aircraft. The facility is located at Dynamatic’s aerospace manufacturing plant in Bangalore.
This development marks the transition of the D328eco® program from the planning and design phase into serial production. The rear fuselage assembly line will support the manufacturing of the 40-seater D328eco®, an aircraft aimed at regional connectivity and lower environmental impact.
The assembly line inauguration follows the strategic partnership formed between the two companies in 2024. The partnership was further strengthened at Aero India 2025, where both parties reaffirmed their commitment to the program.
The event was attended by Mr. Tobias Gotthardt, State Secretary of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, who officially opened the facility. Other attendees included Mr. Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, and Mr. Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies.
The new facility is expected to contribute to increased cooperation between India and the European Union in the aerospace sector. It will also support skilled employment, technology exchange, and a stronger transnational supply chain between the two regions.
