DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RV Connex Co. Ltd., Thailand, aiming to build a fully indigenous, 100% non-Chinese drone ecosystem. The collaboration will focus on local manufacturing in India and Thailand while expanding market opportunities across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
The partnership leverages DroneAcharya’s strong networks in India, its associate Drone Entry (Thailand) Co. Ltd., and RV Connex’s expertise in defense and aerospace technology. By bringing RV Connex’s non-Chinese UAV platforms, anti-drone systems, and cybersecurity solutions into India under the Make in India framework, the alliance seeks to accelerate Atmanirbhar Bharat and reduce dependence on Chinese imports.
Prateek Srivastava, Chairman and Managing Director of DroneAcharya, called the agreement a “landmark step towards secure, self-reliant drone ecosystems,” adding that local manufacturing of RV Connex’s UAV lineup will help deliver world-class drone solutions to India, Southeast Asia, and global markets.
Headquartered in Pune, DroneAcharya provides drone and GIS solutions across defense, agriculture, infrastructure, and emergency services. RV Connex, meanwhile, is a recognized global defense and aerospace leader with strong collaborations in Israel, the US, and Germany.
