Dilip Buildcon has recently announced the successful completion of the Navnera Barrage (Dam) project across the Kalisindh River, near Village Abra, Tehsil Digod, Kota, Rajasthan.
This significant infrastructure development was part of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) Phase-I/(A). The project, which includes the survey, planning, design, construction, and hydro-mechanical works, was executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis.
The project was originally scheduled for completion in 48 months, with a revised completion date of October 13, 2024. However, the team at Dilip Buildcon delivered the work ahead of schedule, physically completing the project on September 30, 2024. The official completion certificate was issued by the relevant authorities on January 17, 2025, and received by Dilip Buildcon on February 1, 2025.
With a project cost of Rs. 661.95 Crores, the company is entitled to a bonus of Rs. 2.53 Crores due to the early completion. This accomplishment highlights Dilip Buildcon’s commitment to excellence in large-scale infrastructure projects and their expertise in timely delivery.
The Navnera Barrage will play a crucial role in enhancing water supply and irrigation systems for the region, contributing to the overall success of the ERCP.
