Diamond Power has received a major business boost after securing a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Larsen & Toubro Limited – Construction for the supply of power cables worth ₹72.51 crore (exclusive of GST).

According to the company, the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and involves the supply of power cables under a “kilometre rate basis with PV formula” structure. This pricing mechanism allows adjustments based on price variation, offering a degree of protection against raw material cost fluctuations during execution.

The execution period for the contract is scheduled to commence on January 6, 2026, and will run until September 30, 2026. With a total consideration of ₹72,51,24,746, excluding applicable taxes, the order represents a meaningful addition to Diamond Power’s order book and provides strong revenue visibility for the coming quarters.

Importantly, the company clarified that none of its promoters, promoter group entities, or group companies have any interest in Larsen & Toubro Limited. It also confirmed that the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions, ensuring that the order has been awarded on a purely commercial and arm’s-length basis.

Larsen & Toubro’s construction arm is a key player in large-scale infrastructure and power projects across India. Winning a supply mandate from such a reputed engineering major reinforces Diamond Power’s credibility as a reliable supplier of power cables for complex and time-sensitive projects.
