Desco Infratech Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for the execution of critical pipeline infrastructure works across multiple states in India. The development was disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The mandate covers key segments of pipeline infrastructure, including steel pipe laying works, MDPE pipe laying works, and last mile connectivity projects. The projects will be executed across Karnataka, West Bengal, Bihar, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu, strengthening the company’s operational presence across diverse geographies.

Scope of Work Across Multiple States

The LOI includes backbone steel pipeline installations as well as MDPE (Medium-Density Polyethylene) pipeline networks for city gas distribution and last mile connectivity. Steel pipelines typically form the primary transmission network, while MDPE pipelines are used for distributing gas to residential, commercial and industrial consumers.

The multi-segment nature of the project highlights Desco Infratech’s integrated execution capabilities across the oil & gas and city gas distribution (CGD) value chain. The combination of large-diameter steel pipelines and last mile MDPE connectivity positions the company as a comprehensive infrastructure execution partner.
