Delhivery Ltd, India’s largest fully integrated logistics services provider, announced the launch of its Lucknow Gateway Hub today, aimed at strengthening its operations in northern India while creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs.
The new facility, spanning 1 lakh sq. ft, is equipped with automated sortation systems and offers a 40% increase in storage and processing capacity, enabling businesses in the region to fulfill orders nationwide more efficiently. The hub incorporates two automated sortation systems capable of processing 5,000 shipments per hour, ensuring faster and more precise operations.
“Our operations in Lucknow and nearby areas are central to our business. This expansion helps local businesses ship goods across the country more quickly and boosts related industries such as packaging, transport, and delivery services. As the festive season approaches, this will improve customer experience significantly,” said Dingtang Tikhak, Senior Vice President – Regional Hub Operations at Delhivery.
The facility also offers 1,300+ bin locations and can hold over 17,000 shipments, allowing local businesses and entrepreneurs to store goods locally and ship nationwide. This expansion is part of Delhivery’s broader northern India network, which includes hundreds of hubs and gateways, 450+ distribution centers, and a growing franchise partner ecosystem supporting thousands of MSMEs.
Delhivery’s nationwide network now covers over 18,800 pin codes, serving more than 44,000 customers and fulfilling over 3.6 billion shipments to date.
