Major logistics company, Delhivery announced the launch of its on-demand intracity delivery service in Mumbai and Hyderabad through the Delhivery Direct App.
In an exchange filing, Delhivery said the new offering enables pickups within 15 minutes of booking and is aimed at small businesses, D2C brands, and individual users requiring fast local deliveries. The service provides real-time tracking and allows customers to choose between two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers depending on shipment size .
The company stated that with this rollout, Delhivery Direct’s intracity presence has expanded to five major cities, including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. Management added that the company will continue investing to expand the service to more cities in response to rising demand for hyperlocal logistics .
Delhivery also highlighted that the Delhivery Direct App supports intercity shipping to over 18,850 pincodes across India, strengthening its integrated logistics network. The announcement comes as the company looks to deepen penetration beyond traditional e-commerce logistics into faster, on-demand local deliveries.
