DCX Systems Ltd has received a new industrial license for manufacturing highly sensitive defence and aerospace systems. The license has been granted by the Industrial Licensing Section of the Office of the Development Commissioner at Cochin SEZ, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

This approval allows the company to undertake production, assembly, and testing of radar systems and electronic warfare (EW) systems, along with integration and manufacture of avionics and defence electronic equipment. The licensed operations will be carried out at the company’s facility in the Aerospace SEZ Sector at HiTech Defence and Aerospace Park in Bengaluru.

The license, valid for 15 years, enables DCX Systems to handle products classified under Category-A as per the Ministry of Defence’s security manual. These items fall under the highest level of security classification due to their critical nature. There is no information about any withdrawal, suspension, or penalty linked to the license.
