Cyient Limited, the global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, has expanded its international presence with the launch of a new Customer Experience Center (CEC) in Lisbon, Portugal. The center was inaugurated by Shri Puneet R. Kundal, Ambassador of India to Portugal, alongside Sukamal Banerjee, Executive Director and CEO of Cyient. This new facility reinforces the company’s commitment to driving innovation, co-creation, and deeper collaboration with global partners as network modernization accelerates across the connectivity landscape.
With the world moving rapidly toward hyperconnected ecosystems, the Lisbon CEC has been designed as a hands-on innovation hub where customers and partners can explore Cyient’s intelligent engineering capabilities in real time. The space enables rapid prototyping of new solutions that simplify, automate, and speed up network modernization journeys, making it easier for enterprises and telecom operators to adopt next-generation technologies.
One of the main attractions at the center is the Pre-Integration Lab, which features multi-vendor O-RAN integration designed to support energy-efficient networks, advanced network slicing, enhanced assurance frameworks, anomaly detection systems, and modern site surveillance. These capabilities lay the groundwork for scalable enterprise 5G solutions and pave the way for future technologies beyond 5G.
The center also houses a full-fledged Network Operations Center (NOC) that highlights AI-powered workflows for network fulfilment and assurance. With agentic AI systems enabling root-cause analysis and predictive maintenance, the NOC demonstrates how operators can improve uptime, reduce operational costs, and deliver superior service quality.
Another major highlight is the Fibre Evolution Showcase, which displays Cyient’s automated approach to network data migration across the complete fibre lifecycle. This solution aligns with M&A opportunities and monetization strategies for telecom operators, offering streamlined management and future-ready scalability. All showcases have been built with an extensible architecture so new technologies and partner innovations can be incorporated seamlessly.
