Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has received a work order worth Rs 28.71 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of Solar Water Pumping Systems (SWPS) across the state. The company disclosed the development in an exchange filing dated December 11, 2025.
According to the filing, the contract covers 1,214 Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems, which will be designed, manufactured, supplied, installed, tested and commissioned under the MTSKPY / PM-KUSUM scheme. The order value is stated excluding GST. The company clarified that the awarding authority is a domestic entity, and the order does not fall under any related-party transaction.
The execution timeline for the project is within 60 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) or work order, as mentioned in Annexure-A of the filing. Crompton also confirmed that neither the promoter group nor group companies hold any interest in the awarding entity.
