Cosmo First Limited, a leading global manufacturer of specialty films, held a Bhoomi Pujan ceremony on January 30, 2025, at Auric City, Bidkin in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. This ceremonial event, symbolizing the start of a significant expansion project, highlights the company’s commitment to growth and innovation in the specialty films sector.
The event, held at Plot No. 3, Sector 25, in the Bidkin Industrial Area, was attended by prominent members of Cosmo First’s leadership, including Mr. Ashok Jaipuria, Mrs. Yamini Jaipuria, and Mr. Pankaj Poddar. The location was strategically selected for its industrial infrastructure and potential for future development.
The Bidkin Industrial Area, part of India’s drive toward becoming a global manufacturing hub, will play a key role in Cosmo First’s growth. The new facility is expected to enhance operational efficiencies and deliver value to stakeholders while promoting local development through job creation.
Mr. Pankaj Poddar, speaking at the ceremony, emphasized the company’s vision and dedication to contributing to Maharashtra’s industrial growth. “By establishing our presence in Auric City, Bidkin, we are expanding our footprint and creating sustainable value for stakeholders while contributing to the local economy through employment and community development,” he said.
The ceremony included traditional rituals and prayers, followed by the formal ground-breaking, marking the start of the project.
