Coforge Limited has introduced Forge-X, a new integrated engineering and delivery platform that aims to completely reshape how modern software is built and delivered. The company describes Forge-X as an AI-native system designed around Agentic AI principles, bringing autonomous intelligence, contextual decision-making, and deep industry-specific understanding into every step of the engineering lifecycle.

Forge-X has been conceptualised and developed by Coforge’s Advanced Engineering Services Unit. It spans the entire Software Development Life Cycle and Product Development Life Cycle, making it a full-scale platform for large digital transformation projects. Coforge says the idea behind Forge-X is simple: give enterprises a way to build future-ready products faster, increase resiliency, and optimise the overall engineering cost without compromising quality.

The platform combines autonomous AI agents with Coforge’s domain expertise to create a delivery environment where every stage of development becomes smarter and more efficient. It brings together a fully integrated ecosystem of tools, agentic assistants, and collaborative workspaces. Teams across multiple geographies can work in sync as the system connects seamlessly with well-known third-party solutions like Jira, Ardoq, LeanIX, and ServiceNow. Each role in the development process—from product owners and architects to developers, testers, and operations—gets AI-driven support to stay aligned with business goals and speed up delivery.

Coforge has built Forge-X on three core pillars. The first is the embedding of domain depth into the engineering layer. This ensures that every decision is informed by real industry semantics, and every outcome aligns with business and technical expectations. The second pillar is a suite of specialised AI agents created to solve targeted engineering challenges. These agents evolve continuously through real-world feedback, allowing them to boost productivity over time and fine-tune agile performance. The third pillar is the inclusion of industrial-grade engineering accelerators that make the entire ecosystem stronger and more scalable.

Some of the key tools powering Forge-X include CodeInsightAI, a GenAI-based solution that helps with both reverse and forward engineering. It is designed to reduce risks arising from undocumented systems, highlight business logic hidden inside legacy code, and speed up transformation programmes. BlueSwan, Coforge’s AI-driven digital assurance platform, strengthens testing and quality engineering. NORTHSTAR enables continuous integration and delivery with complete observability, while EvolveOps.AI oversees autonomous IT operations across hybrid cloud environments, covering design, build, analysis, and automated issue resolution.
