Cochin Shipyard Limited has reported its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2024, showing a solid year-on-year (YoY) growth in both revenue and profit. The company’s revenue from operations for Q2 FY24-25 stood at ₹1,143.20 crore, marking a 13% increase compared to ₹1,011.72 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Profit for the quarter reached ₹188.92 crore, up 4% YoY from ₹181.53 crore in Q2 FY23-24, reflecting the company’s steady financial performance and operational efficiency.
For the half-year ended September 30, 2024, Cochin Shipyard recorded a revenue from operations of ₹1,914.67 crore, a substantial increase from ₹1,487.58 crore in the corresponding period last year. The profit for the half-year period was ₹363.16 crore, a notable 30% rise from ₹280.18 crore in the previous year.
