Ceigall India has secured a major infrastructure boost after its wholly owned subsidiary, Ceigall Infra Projects Private Limited, emerged as the L1 bidder for a National Highways Authority of India project in Bihar. The financial bid was opened on January 21, 2026, under Tender ID 2025_NHAI_242354_1, marking a significant development for the company’s road construction portfolio.
The project has been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India, a domestic authority responsible for the development and maintenance of national highways across India. The scope of work involves the construction of a four-lane highway stretch on NH 139W, covering a total length of 78.942 km in the state of Bihar.
Under the project details, the highway development will be executed in two sections. Section one will cover the Sahebganj to Areraj stretch with a length of 38.362 km, while section two will span from Areraj to Bettiah, measuring 40.580 km. The entire project will be implemented under the Hybrid Annuity Mode, a structure that balances financial responsibility between the government and the developer while ensuring long-term operational quality.
The total bid cost for the project stands at ₹2,160.00 crore. The construction phase is scheduled to be completed within 730 days, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance period. This long-term O&M responsibility is expected to provide stable revenue visibility over the project lifecycle while strengthening the company’s annuity-based income profile.
The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, and there is no involvement or interest of the promoter, promoter group, or group companies in the awarding authority. Additionally, the project does not fall under related party transactions, confirming that the order has been secured on an arm’s length basis.
