Brightcom Group Limited (“Brightcom”) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Close Quarters Tactical (CQT) Weapon Systems, LLC, a reputed U.S.-based defence manufacturer known for its tactical hardware and mission-ready systems. The partnership marks a pivotal step in strengthening Brightcom Defence, the division launched in August 2025 to pioneer advancements in AI-powered aerospace intelligence and autonomous defence technologies.
At the time of the Brightcom Defence launch, the company highlighted its strategic focus on next-generation innovations including swarm coordination, intelligent threat response, and integration of advanced weapon systems. Achieving these goals required expertise not only in artificial intelligence software but also in integrating with robust, proven defence hardware.
The collaboration with CQT Weapon Systems directly supports this roadmap. Brightcom will combine its AI-driven platforms with CQT’s precision-engineered rifles, components, and tactical systems to deliver practical, deployable defence solutions. This fusion of advanced software intelligence with mission-grade weaponry is expected to accelerate Brightcom’s ability to bring next-gen solutions to global defence markets.
