Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited has announced the substantial completion of a major slope protection project worth Rs 100 crore in Mizoram, marking a significant milestone in its capabilities to handle infrastructure works in challenging hilly terrains and flood-prone areas.
The project involved a 19.2 km stretch and employed eight advanced slope stabilization and protection techniques. This achievement not only strengthens the company’s qualification credentials but also enables it to bid for and execute projects valued up to Rs 350 crore and beyond across Northeast India.
To further reinforce its capabilities, Brahmaputra Infrastructure has entered into a preferred client agreement with North East Gabion Industries. The agreement ensures priority access to high-quality gabion boxes, manufactured using Taiwan technology, at preferred rates with assured first-priority delivery.
Joint Managing Director Umang Prithani stated, “This new qualification and our exclusive gabion supply arrangement firmly position Brahmaputra Group as one of the most capable and responsive infrastructure solution providers for protection works in flood-prone and hilly terrains in the Northeast.”
This strategic expansion signals the company’s commitment to delivering sustainable, regionally-empowered solutions that align with both local and national priorities for resilient infrastructure growth.
