The Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Limited (BBTCL) has announced the sale of approximately 40.37 acres of land situated at Muppandal, Thovalai, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, along with 12 windmills. The transaction, approved by the Board of Directors on December 30, 2024, is valued at ₹50.12 crores.
The assets will be sold to SAV Construction and Muthukumar Enterprises, along with their affiliates, subject to due diligence and approvals from relevant authorities. The definitive agreements outlining the terms of the transaction will be signed in due course, and the sale completion date will be mutually agreed upon by the parties.
It is confirmed that the buyers are independent entities and are not part of BBTCL’s promoter group or associated companies.
This strategic decision aligns with BBTCL’s operational goals and underscores its commitment to optimizing asset utilization. The sale details, disclosed per SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
