Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BCSSL) announced a major strategic collaboration with Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) on Wednesday, Nov 19, triggering renewed investor interest in the stock. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to demonstrate and deploy 5G network services with backhaul support and a suite of digital value-added services across key Konkan Railway stations.

According to the company’s filing, the partnership will begin with Proof-of-Concept (PoC) deployments at three stations — Madgaon, Ratnagiri and Udupi — where Blue Cloud will install advanced 5G fixed-wireless access (FWA), in-station digital services, and immersive entertainment solutions for passengers. The initiative aims to enhance connectivity, improve travel-time experience, and assess long-term operational and commercial feasibility along the Konkan corridor.

The company said that the PoC phase will allow both BCSSL and KRCL to study network performance across the challenging railway terrain, evaluate passenger engagement, and finalize scalable models for future rollouts. Upon successful completion, the services are expected to be expanded commercially under a revenue-sharing model between BCSSL and KRCL.

KRCL CMD Santosh Kumar Jha stated that the collaboration aligns with Konkan Railway’s goal of modernising passenger services, while BCSSL Chairman Tejesh Kodali described it as a major step toward transforming digital infrastructure across India’s railway ecosystem.
