Bharat Petroleum Corporation informed stock exchanges on January 1, 2026 about changes in its senior management, in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 .
Key changes in senior management
The company said that Shri Sanjeev Raina, Executive Director in charge of Corporate Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), and Ms. Teresa Raju Naidu, Executive Director (Internal Audit), have superannuated from the services of the company with effect from December 31, 2025.
Following this, Shri Vivek V. Maheshwari, who was serving as Chief General Manager – Finance (Internal Audit), has been appointed as Head – Internal Audit, effective January 1, 2026.

As per the disclosure, Vivek V. Maheshwari holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Executive Management Programme) from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting from Mulund College of Commerce, Mumbai.
He has held multiple roles across finance portfolios within the company, including Corporate Treasury, Shared Services, and Corporate Finance. He has also headed key finance functions for businesses such as Retail, BPCL Refinery Limited (BPRL), Gas, and International Trade, according to the filing .
