Bharat Forge Limited reported its financial results for the second quarter of FY25, showing a mixed performance with a slight decline in revenue year-on-year (YoY) but notable growth in net profit.
Quarterly Performance Overview:
- Revenue from Operations: The company recorded revenue of ₹3,688.5 crore in Q2 FY25, a decrease of 2% from ₹3,774.2 crore in Q2 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, revenue dropped 10% from ₹4,106.1 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Net Profit: Bharat Forge reported a net profit of ₹243.3 crore for Q2 FY25, reflecting a 13% increase from ₹214.9 crore in Q2 FY24. Sequentially, net profit rose significantly by 39% from ₹174.6 crore in Q1 FY25.
The YoY improvement in net profit highlights Bharat Forge’s resilience and operational efficiency despite facing revenue challenges both QoQ and YoY.
