Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has bagged a significant order worth ₹809 crore (gross) from Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) for the supply of one of its Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM). This new domestic order is expected to be executed over a span of three years, further strengthening BDL’s order book and reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem.

According to the company’s regulatory filing dated July 25, 2025, the details of the contract have been disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. While the specific terms and conditions of the deal remain confidential due to national security concerns, the order represents a strategic milestone for BDL in bolstering indigenous defence production.

The order does not fall under related party transactions, and BDL has confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter group companies have any interest in AVNL. This deal, being fully domestic in nature, underscores the government’s continued push for self-reliance in defence under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative.
