Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has strengthened its order book once again, confirming additional defence contracts valued at ₹2,461.62 crore since its previous disclosure on 13 November 2025. These new orders, awarded by the Indian Army, primarily relate to Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) and Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) under emergency procurement.
The company noted that the terms and conditions of the contracts remain confidential due to national security considerations. All orders have been placed by domestic entities, reinforcing BDL’s role as a critical supplier to India’s defence ecosystem.
The execution timelines have also been laid out: the ATGM orders will be fulfilled over a span of forty-two months, while the SAM orders will be completed within twelve months. BDL clarified that there is no promoter or related party involvement in the awarding of these contracts.
