Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter, reflecting a mixed performance. The company reported a 5.5% year-on-year decline in net profit, which stood at ₹272.7 crore compared to ₹288.8 crore in the same quarter last year.
Despite the dip in profitability, BDL recorded a substantial rise in revenue. The company’s total income for the quarter reached ₹1,777 crore, more than double the ₹854 crore reported in the corresponding period last year. This marks a year-on-year revenue growth of approximately 108.07%.
EBITDA for the quarter came in at ₹299 crore, down from ₹316.3 crore year-on-year, marking a 5.5% decrease. Operating margins also saw a sharp contraction, falling to 16.83% from 37.04% a year earlier.
In the meantime, Bharat Dynamics shares closed today at ₹1,959.90, after opening at ₹1,909.40. The stock reached a high of ₹1,991.50, which is also its 52-week high, marking a significant milestone. The low for the day was ₹1,905.00. Over the past year, the stock has seen a low of ₹890.00, showing impressive growth.
