Bhageria Industries Limited has strengthened its renewable energy portfolio with the commissioning of a 7MW Solar PV Power Plant in Maharashtra. The project has been executed through its wholly owned subsidiary, Rahuri Cleantech Private Limited, and became operational on 25 February 2026 (IST).
The solar plant is located at Pimpalgaon Wagha in Ahilyanagar district and forms part of a larger 32MW capacity being developed under the Maharashtra government’s MSKVY 2.0 scheme. The newly commissioned 7MW capacity marks the first operational milestone within this broader renewable energy initiative.
The Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY 2.0) aims to promote decentralised solar power generation across Maharashtra, primarily to support agricultural feeders and reduce reliance on conventional energy sources. By commissioning this plant, Bhageria Industries has taken a concrete step toward supporting clean energy adoption while aligning with state and national renewable energy goals.
