Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, has announced the acquisition of new orders worth over ₹500 crores. These additions have significantly boosted its current financial year order book, which now stands at ₹7,689 crores.

The latest orders include EMI shelters, annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for Integrated Air Command and Control system nodes, spares for various radar systems, and upgrades for gun systems. The contracts also cover supply and maintenance of communication and electronic warfare systems. These strategic orders showcase BEL’s continued growth in delivering advanced technology and services to India’s defense sector.

The company’s growing order book demonstrates BEL’s strong presence and capabilities in defense and aerospace sectors. The increase in orders reflects its ability to meet the evolving needs of defense modernization, focusing on enhancing command and control systems, radars, and communications.

Earlier in the year, BEL secured several major orders that added to its strong performance, which included a mix of defense, aerospace, and civilian projects, ranging from advanced radar systems, network-centric warfare systems, electronic voting machines (EVMs), and other cutting-edge technologies. This latest acquisition further cements its position as a critical contributor to India’s defense infrastructure and technological advancement.
