Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has reported a steady financial performance for Q2 FY25, with growth in both revenue and net profit.
Revenue: The company posted a revenue of ₹2,420 crores, up by 7.4% compared to ₹2,253 crores in the same period last year.
Net Profit: Balkrishna Industries recorded a 4.2% YoY increase in net profit, reaching ₹349.60 crores in Q2 FY25, compared to ₹335.39 crores in Q2 FY24.
EBITDA: The EBITDA stood at ₹580 crores, up 8.8% YoY from ₹533 crores in the corresponding quarter of FY24.
Margins: The company’s operating margin improved by 32 basis points (bps) to 24% in Q2 FY25 compared to 23.6% in the previous year.
Additionally, the board of directors declared a second interim dividend of ₹4.00 per equity share (200% on the face value of ₹2 each) for the financial year 2024-25. The payment will be credited/dispatched within 30 days from the declaration to shareholders as of the record date, which is set for November 2, 2024.
