Bajel Projects has recently informed exchanges that the company bagged a significant supply of Goods and Services contract from PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) for their Rajasthan IV 4A Power Transmission Limited project. This award pertains to the Transmission Line Package TL03 for the 765 kV Dausa-Ghiror D/c line, which is part of the larger transmission system designed for evacuating power from Rajasthan REZ Phase-IV.

The contract is for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a 120 km transmission line. With a duration of 23 months from the date of issuance of the Notice of Award, this domestic project strengthens Bajel Projects’ position in the power transmission sector. The contract was awarded by a domestic entity, ensuring compliance with applicable SEBI Listing Regulations.

Bajel Projects confirms that none of the promoters or group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions. This contract is a significant milestone for the company, contributing to the development of India’s energy infrastructure.

In the meantime, On January 13, Bajel Projects announced that it has been awarded a major contract by Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) for the construction of the 400kV D/C Raipur – Tiroda Transmission Line. This contract, which involves the design, procurement, and construction of a new transmission line, is a significant step in enhancing the energy infrastructure. The 217 km stretch will feature the use of Quad ACSR Moose conductors, ensuring efficient and reliable power transmission between Raipur and Tiroda. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months from the issuance of the Letter of Award, marking an important milestone in improving energy distribution across the region.
