Bajel Projects Limited (Bajel), a Bajaj Group company and a leading player in India’s power transmission and distribution sector, has announced major order wins exceeding ₹400 crores. The new contracts, awarded by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and Inergy Infra Private Limited, highlight Bajel’s continued leadership in delivering high-impact infrastructure solutions across the country.

Bajel has been awarded a significant contract by PGCIL, acting through its special purpose vehicle Kurnool-IV Power Transmission Limited, for the construction of a 765kV Double Circuit (D/C) transmission line between Kurnool IV and Kurnool III Power Station in Andhra Pradesh. This project, part of the Transmission System for the Integration of Kurnool-IV Renewable Energy Zone Phase-I (4.5GW), is scheduled for completion within 23 months.

In addition, Bajel secured two key orders from Inergy Infra Private Limited, Pune, for power evacuation infrastructure supporting a 550MW solar-wind hybrid plant in Beed, Maharashtra. These include the development of a 400kV transmission line and a 400kV New AIS Substation, both to be completed within 12 months.

“These wins mark a strong start to the financial year and reaffirm our capability to deliver complex, high-voltage transmission projects on time with a strong focus on quality and safety,” said Rajesh Ganesh, MD & CEO of Bajel Projects.

These projects will significantly boost India’s grid infrastructure, support renewable energy integration, and enhance power reliability nationwide.
