Bajaj Finserv Limited reported a 10% year-on-year (YoY) growth in revenue, reaching ₹32,042 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, compared to ₹29,038 crore in the same period last year. The company’s consolidated profit after tax increased by 3% YoY to ₹2,231 crore, up from ₹2,158 crore in Q3 FY24.
Bajaj Finance, a key subsidiary, posted a 17% YoY rise in consolidated profit after tax, reaching ₹4,246 crore compared to ₹3,639 crore in the year-ago quarter. The general insurance segment witnessed a strong 39% YoY growth in profit, climbing to ₹400 crore from ₹287 crore. The life insurance segment’s net new business value (NBV) stood at ₹254 crore, up 1% from ₹251 crore in Q3 FY24.
For the nine-month period ended December 2024, Bajaj Finserv’s consolidated total income surged 24% YoY to ₹97,226 crore, compared to ₹78,341 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year. The consolidated profit after tax grew 7% YoY to ₹6,456 crore, up from ₹6,029 crore in 9M FY24. Bajaj Finance’s profit for the nine-month period rose 14% YoY to ₹12,158 crore, while general insurance profit jumped 26% to ₹1,470 crore. The life insurance NBV increased 4% YoY to ₹603 crore from ₹581 crore.
