Bajaj Auto Limited reported a modest 1% year-on-year growth in total sales for March 2025, with the company selling 3,69,823 units as compared to 3,65,904 units in March 2024. The growth was largely driven by a strong performance in the commercial vehicle (CV) export segment.
In the 2-wheeler category, domestic sales remained flat at 1,83,659 units, while exports rose marginally by 1% to 1,32,073 units. This took the total 2-wheeler sales for the month to 3,15,732 units, registering a slight uptick from 3,13,885 units last year.
Commercial vehicle sales saw a 4% rise in March 2025, with exports surging 11% to 16,276 units, while domestic sales grew 1% to 37,815 units. Overall CV sales for the month stood at 54,091 units, compared to 52,019 in March 2024.
Full-Year Performance (April 2024 – March 2025):
For the full fiscal year, Bajaj Auto’s total sales grew by 7% year-on-year to 46,50,966 units, up from 43,50,933 units last year. The company reported:
- 2-Wheeler Sales: 7% growth, totaling 39,82,309 units
- Commercial Vehicle Sales: 7% growth, totaling 6,68,657 units
- Exports: Rose 14% to 18,63,281 units
- Domestic Sales: Increased by 3% to 27,87,685 units
The company also clarified that these figures include sales from its wholly owned subsidiary, Bajaj Auto Technology Limited (formerly Chetak Technology Limited).
