AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies Private Limited, a subsidiary of AXISCADES Technologies Limited and one of India’s leading defence, aerospace, and strategic electronics solutions providers, has announced a major expansion of its partnership with MBDA, the renowned European missile systems company. This collaboration reinforces both companies’ commitment to advancing India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives in the defence sector.

The partnership between AXISCADES and MBDA began a decade ago with the joint development of advanced test benches for the MICA missile. Over the years, it has evolved into a strong strategic alliance, encompassing critical projects in missile launcher development and advanced defence technologies. This collaboration highlights the shared vision of both companies to enhance indigenous design, manufacturing, and integration capabilities in India’s defence ecosystem.

In a key milestone, AXISCADES inaugurated an expanded state-of-the-art test bench facility at its Aeroland campus in Devanahalli, Bengaluru. The facility is designed for the mass production of advanced test benches that support MBDA’s wide range of missile and missile launcher platforms. With advanced infrastructure and scalable production capabilities, the new centre is expected to significantly boost AXISCADES’ contribution to defence production in India.

Further strengthening its long-term vision for self-reliance, AXISCADES is establishing a dedicated MBDA System Integration Centre at the Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Cluster (DAC) in Bengaluru. This centre will enhance collaboration, accelerate localisation, and expand production capacity within India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem.

Additionally, AXISCADES has announced plans to build a Missile Atmanirbhar Complex (MAC) in Hyderabad, which will serve as a comprehensive hub for the large-scale production of next-generation missile systems. This upcoming complex is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting India’s indigenous defence production and export potential.
