AXISCADES Technologies Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies Pvt. Ltd., has secured a significant contract from the Indian Army under the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative. The order, valued at ₹223.95 crore, is for the supply of 212 next-generation 50-ton tank transporter trailers.
The contract was awarded by the Directorate General of Capability Development, Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army), and is to be executed over a period of two years.
This contract underscores the Indian Army’s continued focus on indigenous procurement in line with the Government’s self-reliance drive in defence manufacturing.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the order is entirely domestic and does not involve any related party transactions. There is also no promoter group interest in the awarding entity.
