Avantel Limited has announced a significant milestone with the receipt of a purchase order worth ₹10.11 crore (inclusive of taxes) from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The order, confirmed via mail on August 11, 2025, is for the supply of Satcom Equipment – Airborne Version.
As per the company’s disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR), the contract involves manufacturing and supplying specialized airborne satellite communication equipment. The order comes with a 24-month warranty from the date of acceptance and is scheduled for completion by August 10, 2026.
The award has been made by HAL, a domestic defence and aerospace giant, with no related party transactions or promoter interest involved. This new contract reinforces Avantel’s growing footprint in the defence communication sector, aligning with India’s push for advanced indigenous technologies in aerospace and defence.
