Ashoka Buildcon Limited on Friday informed the exchanges that the Delhi High Court has kept in abeyance a key portion of the National Highways Authority of India’s (NHAI) recent show-cause notice issued to the company. The update comes as a continuation of the firm’s earlier disclosure dated November 27, 2025.

According to the filing, the High Court, through an order dated December 8, 2025 — a copy of which the company received on December 11 at 13:30 IST — has temporarily suspended the operation of Para 4 of the NHAI’s show-cause notice, subject to certain conditions.

Under the Court’s directions, Ashoka Buildcon must submit its detailed reply to the show-cause notice within three days of the order. Following this, NHAI has been instructed to schedule a hearing to assess whether any suspension action is warranted, based on the facts and circumstances of the case.

The order further notes that if NHAI decides to pursue suspension, it must issue a reasoned order. Importantly, until the conclusion of this entire exercise, NHAI’s earlier decision regarding temporary suspension of the company from bidding — for either one month or until the completion of the investigation, whichever is later — will remain in abeyance.

Ashoka Buildcon stated that the disclosure has been made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
