Ashoka Buildcon Limited has secured a major international infrastructure contract in the Republic of Liberia, strengthening its global EPC portfolio. The company informed exchanges that it has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Ministry of Public Works, Liberia, for a road upgradation project with an accepted bid cost of USD 45,276,621.07.
The order, awarded by the Ministry of Public Works, Liberia, is classified as an international Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract. The project involves upgrading the road stretch from Nrowkia (Sasstown Junction) to Barclayville, Nrowkia (Sasstown Junction) to Sasstown, and part of Nrowkia (Sasstown Junction) to Nipleppo in Liberia. The execution timeline for the project is 24 months.
According to the company’s regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the project marks a significant addition to Ashoka Buildcon’s overseas order book. The contract value of over USD 45.27 million reflects the company’s continued expansion in international infrastructure development, particularly in road construction and EPC projects.
Ashoka Buildcon confirmed that the trading window for designated persons and their immediate relatives will remain closed until 48 hours after the disclosure, in line with regulatory compliance requirements.
This latest order win is expected to enhance the company’s international presence and improve revenue visibility over the next two years, given the 24-month execution period. Investors are likely to track further updates on project mobilisation and order book growth in upcoming quarters.
