Ashok Leyland, the flagship of the Hinduja Group and a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has commenced the delivery of its AVTR 55T Electric, BOSS 19T Electric, and BOSS 14T Electric trucks to Billion Electric Mobility. This significant order marks a major step forward in the transition to electric mobility within the commercial vehicle sector.

Billion Electric Mobility, a member of Group BillionE, has placed a substantial order for 180 electric trucks, which includes BOSS Electric Trucks and AVTR 55T Electric Tractors. The vehicles were officially flagged off by Mr. Shenu Agarwal, MD & CEO of Ashok Leyland, and Mr. Kartikey Hariyani, Founder & CEO of Billion E-Mobility & ChargeZone, in the presence of senior executives from both companies.

These include advanced battery packs positioned at the frame level for compatibility with commonly used trailers and superstructures, IP67 protection against water and dust ingress, Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) for enhanced safety, and simultaneous dual-gun charging with the Common Charging Standard 2 (CCS2) for faster recharging.
