Ashiana Housing Limited has disclosed that a group of residents from its Bhiwadi project, Ashiana Town Beta (A-Town), has filed a consumer complaint before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), alleging deficiency in services and unfair trade practices.

According to the company’s exchange filing, the A-Town project — delivered in three phases between 2013 and 2018 — is at the center of the dispute. The complainants have sought compensation of approximately Rs 54.88 crore. Ashiana Housing added that there is currently no financial implication on its operations, as the matter remains sub judice.

The company said it has received the notice and will contest the matter after obtaining legal advice. It is in the process of filing its response to the complaint.

Ashiana Housing clarified that it is complying with SEBI’s disclosure norms and has notified both BSE and NSE regarding the development.
