Apollo Micro Systems Limited has announced that it has received fresh orders worth Rs 34.09 crore in the ordinary course of business from various defence and private sector entities.
In its exchange filing, the company stated that the orders include Rs 11.01 crore from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Rs 22.57 crore from a Defence Public Sector Undertaking, and Rs 0.51 crore from private companies. The total order value aggregates to Rs 34.09 crore, as per the filing submitted to stock exchanges.
Earlier performance and contract milestones
Earlier, Apollo Micro Systems Ltd reported a strong performance in the July–September quarter, with net profit surging 98.15% year-on-year to Rs 31.11 crore, compared to Rs 15.7 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue grew 40.2% to Rs 225.3 crore, while EBITDA rose 82.7% to Rs 59.59 crore, improving margins to 26.45% from 20.29% a year ago.
In a separate update on October 29, the company announced that it had secured cumulative orders worth Rs 18.43 crore from DRDO, various defence public sector undertakings, and private firms.
On October 16, Apollo Micro Systems was also declared the lowest bidder (L1) by DRDO for contracts worth Rs 4.3 crore, and by defence PSUs for projects worth Rs 34.97 crore, taking the total L1 value to Rs 39.27 crore.
Additionally, the company received approval for the Transfer of Technology (ToT) of the Mechatronic Fuze for Grenade by DRDO, marking a significant advancement in its indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities.
