This groundbreaking collaboration was formalized by Dr. Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd (AHEL), and Mr. Olivier Legrain, CEO of IBA, in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in India’s fight against cancer, reinforcing Apollo Hospitals’ commitment to advanced oncology care. Apollo Proton Cancer Centre in Chennai, launched in 2019, is South Asia and the Middle East’s first and only Proton Therapy facility. Since its inception, over 2,000 patients from 147 countries have benefited from this revolutionary cancer treatment.

With India ranking third globally in new cancer cases after China and the US, the need for advanced cancer treatments is greater than ever.
