New Delhi, December 24, 2025: Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited has announced its entry into Kerala with the addition of three boutique properties — The Malabar House, Purity, and Discovery — to THE Park Collection, the company’s luxury hotel brand focused on destination-led and design-driven experiences.
The development marks the hospitality group’s debut in Kerala, a key leisure market with strong domestic and international tourist inflows. The newly added properties strengthen the company’s presence in the luxury and heritage hospitality segment.
The Malabar House, a Relais & Châteaux member, is a heritage boutique hotel located in Fort Kochi. Dating back to 1755, the property features 17 rooms and suites that blend historical architecture with contemporary design. It is recognised as Fort Kochi’s first boutique heritage hotel.
Purity, located along the backwaters of Alappuzha, is a luxury lakefront retreat known for sustainability-led operations, wellness-focused experiences, and curated culinary offerings. The addition also includes Discovery, a premium houseboat that offers immersive backwater stays.
Commenting on the expansion, Vijay Dewan, Managing Director, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited, said the Kerala properties represent a strategic step in deepening the group’s presence in the luxury and heritage hospitality segment, supported by year-round demand and strong footfalls.
The Kerala properties join THE Park Collection’s existing portfolio, which includes Ran Baas, The Palace in Patiala and THE Lotus Palace Chettinad. The company stated that it remains focused on disciplined capital deployment and value-accretive opportunities aligned with its long-term growth strategy.
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited operates across multiple hospitality brands, including THE PARK, THE Park Collection, Zone by The Park, Zone Connect by The Park, and Stop by Zone, along with a strong food and beverage portfolio through brands such as Flurys.
