Ambuja Cements Limited on Monday announced that it has successfully commissioned its 4 million tonne per annum (MTPA) brownfield clinker expansion at Bhatapara in Chhattisgarh. The development has been communicated via an exchange filing under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations.
With this commissioning, Ambuja Cements’ consolidated clinker capacity has now increased to 66 MTPA, marking a significant addition to its current production capabilities. The expanded unit is part of the company’s ongoing capacity-enhancement programme under the Adani Group, aimed at strengthening its pan-India manufacturing footprint.
The company confirmed that the upgraded clinker facility at Bhatapara is now operational and the update has also been published on its official website.
The exchange filing was signed by Manish Mistry, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, and submitted to NSE, BSE and Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
