Agarwal Industrial Corporation Limited (AICL) has announced a supply contract with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for the provision of bulk bitumen. The contract, valued at approximately Rs 303 crore, involves the supply of VG30 and VG40 grade bitumen from AICL’s facilities located in Haldia, Karwar, Mangalore, and Taloja.

As per the agreement, AICL will deliver around 45,000 metric tonnes of VG30 bitumen and 30,000 metric tonnes of VG40 bitumen, adhering to the IS 73-2013 standards. The supply will be executed in line with BPCL’s procurement requirements, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and quality standards.

The contract is set for an initial period of one year, with BPCL retaining the option to extend the agreement for an additional year at its discretion. AICL clarified that the deal is structured on an arm’s length basis and does not involve any related-party transactions.

AICL specializes in the bitumen sector, catering to industrial and infrastructure requirements, including road construction and maintenance. The agreement with BPCL strengthens its position in the bitumen supply market while aligning with BPCL’s ongoing procurement and infrastructure development initiatives.
